FSSC Development Program Version 2.0 P4-3.5.4: Maintenance and requalification of assessors

What does P4-3.5.4 require?

The CAB keeps assessor qualification current: assessors attend relevant annual training including FSSC events, can access and apply relevant law, and have training records; at least one Program witnessed assessment is held every three years covering the ISO 22003-1 Table C.1 assessment elements (one covers all categories); and every three years a supervisor reviews the assessment log (at least four food safety audits or assessments), the training log, the witness result and complaints before signing off requalification, which is sent to FSSC. Assessments done for another CAB may count.
