FSSC 24000 Social Management System Certification Scheme Version 1.0 P3-6.2.3: Critical nonconformities

What does P3-6.2.3 require?

A critical finding (significant SMS failure, direct adverse social impact without proper action, or legality or integrity at stake) suspends the certificate within three working days for up to six months; the client submits cause analysis and an action plan within 14 days; a full on-site follow-up of at least a day takes place six weeks to six months later, after which the cycle is restored or, if unresolved, the certificate is withdrawn; at an initial audit the audit fails and is repeated. Examples include child labour below age 15 or the national minimum, forced work of under-18s, bonded labour, violence or threats to force work, inhumane or degrading treatment including sexual violence, imminent life-threatening health and safety breaches, bribing auditors and deliberate concealment such as hidden production sites or an under-declared workforce.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
