EPA Risk Management Program (40 CFR Part 68) 68.85: § 68.85 Hot work permit

The owner or operator must issue a hot work permit for hot work operations on or near a covered process, documenting that the fire prevention and protection requirements of 29 CFR 1910.252(a) have been implemented before the work begins, indicating the dates authorised and identifying the object on which hot work is performed, and must retain each permit for three years after completion of the hot work.
