Clause 6: System engineering activities by project phase – ECSS-E-ST-10C System Engineering General Requirements (2009 edition)

ECSS-E-ST-10C System Engineering General Requirements (2009 edition) 6.2: Plan and monitor system engineering activities by project phase and identify critical elements

What does 6.2 require?

The system engineering function plans its activities to the project phases management has defined and as ECSS-M-ST-10 lays down, monitors the execution of every system engineering activity including those at lower levels, identifies the critical elements, and, for critical elements that sit below the next level down, makes the technical requirements specification, design definition file and design justification file available early in the project so that the project risk can be controlled.
