Design reviews confirm that the requirements are satisfied by the design data and implementation, held at several points as planned (for example conceptual, detailed and implementation reviews), and for multi-level designs such as ASICs and board assemblies where assurance is most effective. They check that all requirements are addressed and derived requirements and design data are correct; environmental, safety and reliability requirements are addressed; safety aspects of the design are explicitly identified; the design can be implemented, tested and maintained; new manufacturing techniques are evaluated; planned component selection criteria are met; the design traces to the requirements; and omissions and errors are fed back.
This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
