In energy, an accredited person that is not a retailer meets the external dispute resolution requirements by AFCA membership; a retailer that is not accredited by energy and water ombudsman membership (or, where a jurisdiction has no recognised ombudsman, taking the steps to join that jurisdiction's appropriate process) in each relevant jurisdiction; an accredited retailer by both AFCA and ombudsman membership; and a limited retailer (using energy CDR data only within energy and not using non-energy CDR data outside it) by ombudsman membership only.
