Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 S4-5.1: Schedule 4 clause 5.1: meet the energy sector's internal dispute resolution requirements

In energy, an accredited person that is not also a retailer meets the internal dispute resolution requirements by complying with the listed provisions of ASIC Regulatory Guide 271 (read as applying to CDR consumer complaints and CDR participants); a retailer, including one that is also accredited, meets them if its processes satisfy the standard complaints and dispute resolution procedures required under the National Energy Retail Law or the Energy Retail Code (Victoria). Part 6 does not apply to the AER, the Victorian agency or AEMO as data holders.
