For lifts, escalators and moving walks: one credit where transport demand and usage patterns are analysed to size the systems, energy consumption is estimated to ISO 25745 for at least two system types or arrangements or a fit-for-purpose strategy, regenerative drives are considered and the lowest-consumption system is specified; and two credits where each lift has the energy efficient features of standby operation off-peak, efficient lighting with automatic switch-off and a variable-speed, variable-voltage, variable-frequency drive, and escalators and moving walks have load-sensing or passenger-sensing controls.
