BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 9.4.1: A risk-based sampling or assurance programme verifying conformity to specification and law

What does 9.4.1 require?

The site must run a programme of product sampling or assurance that confirms traded products meet the purchase specification and the legal and safety requirements. Where sampling is used, the sampling rates and assessment are set on risk, and results are recorded.
