A fire sprinkler fitter required to do service work outside ordinary hours for a breakdown, accident or other emergency earns double time (200%) on the ordinary hourly rate. The time counted runs only for time reasonably taken in travel or work between leaving home and returning there. The first call-back on a day attracts at least 2 hours at 200%, and each further call-back that day at least 1 hour, regardless of whether it falls inside the 2 hours following the first.
