The employer and most of its employees may agree on a different way of arranging ordinary hours and RDOs. The agreement may deal with how hours are averaged within a cycle, the length of the cycle (never more than 3 months), rosters with start and finish times, substitution, accumulation and flexible taking of RDOs, and ordinary hours of more than 8 on a day, as long as they fall inside the spread in 15.2(c) or 15.3.
