Ordinary hours average 38 a week over a 4-week cycle. They are worked across a 20-day cycle, Monday to Friday. The roster is 19 days of 8 hours, and 0.4 of an hour of each day worked accrues toward one paid rostered day off (RDO) per cycle. Subject to an agreed early start (15.3) and the penalty rate provisions (clause 23), ordinary hours fall on weekdays within the window 7.00 am to 6.00 pm.
