The price band is set by when the support was delivered, not by the worker's award shift: public holiday, Saturday, Sunday, weekday daytime (6 am to 8 pm), evening (8 pm to midnight) and night supports for disability support workers, with separate bands for nurses. A night-time sleepover is a support that starts before and ends after midnight, runs at least 8 continuous hours and lets the worker sleep; it includes up to two hours of active support, with further hours claimed at the applicable rate. A support crossing a band is split, unless the same worker delivers all of it, in which case the higher band applies to the whole support after discussing this with the participant.
