An organisation whose registration is cancelled or withdrawn returns its certificate of registration to ASQA within 10 days of the day the cancellation or withdrawal takes effect, and one whose registration has lapsed returns it within 10 days of ASQA's lapse notice. Failure is a civil penalty contravention of 600 penalty units (s 112).
