External quality assurance covers each test or test group for which a program exists, and spans the work before analysis, the analysis itself and the reporting that follows (the publication numbers this action 10.010). The practice judges a program's suitability against set criteria, ISO 17043 among them; the supervising medical practitioner oversees participation; EQA material is run and reported like a routine specimen wherever that is possible; acceptable performance is defined in writing; results are reviewed to confirm performance is acceptable against the practice's own risk analysis, discordant results are investigated promptly, and the practice works out whether any patient's results or care were affected and puts it right; and serious or persistent poor performance is reported to the designated person.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
