The work put into estimating uncertainty is proportionate to the clinical use of the result. Routine uncertainty goals are set, and missing one triggers a hunt for the contributing sources and action to reduce them; the estimates are used to show assays meet their performance goal and suit their clinical use, and to flag tests where estimation is not possible so their risks can be minimised; requesters and other providers can obtain the uncertainty data; and for defined tests the uncertainty figure informs monitoring and troubleshooting.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
