Australia National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) s114: s 114 Give and have the consumer accept a written quote before charging for credit assistance

Before suggesting or assisting with a particular credit contract or credit limit increase, or suggesting the consumer stay in a contract, a licensee must give the consumer a written quote describing the services and the maximum amount payable to the licensee and what it covers, have the consumer sign, date or otherwise accept it, and give the consumer a copy of the accepted quote.
