A building, and a plumbing or drainage installation, must be constructed using materials, products, forms of construction and designs fit for their intended purpose, which requires evidence of suitability appropriate to the material, product, form of construction or design, and that it be constructed or installed in an appropriate manner (A5G1, A5G2). Evidence of suitability for Volumes One and Two may be a current CodeMark Australia or CodeMark Certificate of Conformity, a current Certificate of Accreditation, or another current certificate from a certification body, among other forms set out in A5G3, and any documentary evidence submitted must be a complete, unabridged copy of the original.
