A reference in the NCC to a document refers to the edition, issue and amendment listed in Schedule 2 or the ABCB's register of alternative referenced documents (a primary referenced document), applicable only in the context quoted; a document referenced within a primary referenced document is a secondary referenced document, taken as it existed when the primary document was published (A4G1(1) to (6)). A new edition, issue or amendment not listed in Schedule 2 or the register is not referenced for NCC purposes, and a Schedule 2 document cannot be mixed with a different edition of the same document from the register for the same Deemed-to-Satisfy Provision or Verification Method.
