Workers, including subcontractors, their employees, labour hire employees and apprentices, must take reasonable care for their own and others' health and safety, comply so far as reasonably able with reasonable instructions, and cooperate with notified WHS policies and procedures. In construction they must keep their general construction induction training card (white card) available for inspection, or while awaiting a decision on an application, their induction certification. Subcontractors carry both PCBU and worker duties, and self-employed PCBUs are workers of their own undertaking.
