The principal contractor for a construction project must ensure signs are installed showing its name and telephone numbers including an after-hours number, and the site office location if any, clearly visible from outside the workplace or the work area where the project is under way (WHS Regulations r 308). A site sign may also carry the WHS management plan or its site safety rules.
