Overtime is payable, calculated daily: for full-time employees for hours beyond ordinary hours, outside the span (except shiftwork, subject to 15.2) or outside the roster conditions of clause 15; for part-time employees beyond guaranteed hours or outside the span; and for casuals beyond 38 ordinary hours a week (averaged over a roster cycle where rostered), outside the span, or beyond 11 hours on one day and 9 on any other day. It must be paid at the rates in Table 11 of the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026), which differ for full-time and part-time and for casual employees (casual rates include the loading) and by day and hours.
