Where an employee must work more than one hour of overtime after their usual finishing time without 24 hours' notice and cannot reasonably go home for a meal in the break, the employer must pay the meal allowance or supply a meal, and pay a further meal allowance if that overtime exceeds 4 hours; the amounts are in clause 19.2 of the current award (consolidated to 1 July 2026, read 30 September 2026).
