The employer may set a weekly or fortnightly pay period (or monthly for Level 4 and above where that applied before 1 January 2010), paying by hours worked or averaged over a fortnight. Wages must be paid on a regular pay day notified in writing, changed only on 4 weeks' written notice. On termination the employer must pay, within 7 days of the last day, the wages for any complete or incomplete pay period and all other amounts owed under the award and the NES, subject to Commission orders and authorised deductions. Pay records and payslips must meet Fair Work Regulations 3.33(3) and 3.46(1)(g), identifying each allowance separately.
