Australia General Retail Industry Award 2020 (MA000004) 15.7: 15.7 and 15.8 Roster days per week, consecutive days off and Sunday workers' weekends

A roster period cannot exceed 4 weeks (except by agreement under 15.6(g)(v)). Ordinary hours may be rostered on no more than 5 days a week, or on 6 days in one week of a two-week cycle if no more than 4 in the other. Employees must have 2 consecutive days off each week or 3 consecutive days off per 2-week cycle, unless the employee asks in writing for a different arrangement (recorded in the time and wages record, ended on 4 weeks' notice, never a condition of employment). No employee may work more than 6 consecutive days. An employee who regularly works Sundays must be rostered for 3 consecutive days off including Saturday and Sunday in each 4-week cycle, subject to the same written-request exception.
