Australia Food Standards Code Standard 3.2.2 Food Safety Practices and General Requirements cl18: Clause 18 General duties of food businesses

The business tells every food handler working for it of their health and hygiene obligations under Subdivision 1 (clauses 13 to 15). Information a food handler gives under those clauses is not disclosed to anyone without the handler's consent other than the proprietor or an authorised officer, and is used only to address the risk of food contamination. The business takes all practicable measures to ensure that everyone on its food premises does not contaminate food, does not have unnecessary contact with ready-to-eat food, and does not spit, smoke or use tobacco or similar preparations where there is unprotected food or food contact surfaces.
