Australia Food Standards Code Standard 1.1.1 Structure of the Code and General Provisions 1.1.1-12: s 1.1.1-12 Apply the Code to imported food as it will be sold

Imported food meets the Code's labelling provisions if imported with the labelling intended for sale, its packaging provisions if imported in the packaging intended for sale, and all other Code provisions in every case; this is the standard applied under the Imported Food Control Act 1992 (Cth) and the New Zealand importing provisions.
