Top management should review the operation of the OSHMS regularly to judge whether it is fully implemented and still suitable for achieving the policy and objectives, whether the policy remains appropriate, and whether any element needs changing. The review weighs the overall performance of the system in relation to the organisation, third parties and the needs of employer, workers and the inspectorate, and confirms compliance with legal requirements.
