Implementation can begin once the internal approvals, and any external ones required, are in place. Delivery iterates against the approved plan: should anything change while implementing, the risks shall be assessed again and the plans adjusted as needed, and a change of scope requires the approval process again. The responsible staff shall keep a close watch on implementation and adjust the plan promptly while keeping stakeholders aware; they should report activity status including slippage and close-out, collect comments on the effectiveness of the plan, document changes so the process and later alterations can be audited, trouble-shoot emerging issues with mitigating actions, support the team, and keep consulting stakeholders and removing barriers to engagement. Coordination across the business units involved is required and every risk shall be managed as far as reasonable practicability allows.
