Fire-rated glazing, yearly: confirm none added, removed or modified against drawings; inspect for crazing or cracking at the perimeter and impact damage across the surface; verify the frame is not distorted, is anchored and free of defects or corrosion, has no visible through-gaps and is fire sealed at its junction with the surrounding construction; and check glazing seals are present and not deteriorated. Fire-protected air ducts, yearly: confirm none added, removed or modified; inspect the fire protection system or coating of fire-resistant ducts and supports against drawings and schedules and check for mechanical damage; look for deterioration or loss of adhesion of sprayed protection and for missing or loose boards and cladding; report any deficiency to the owner, representative or occupier and amend the schedule to keep it accurate.
