VUCA Leadership Framework
Leadership agility: the AGILE Model (Horney, Pasmore and O'Shea) – VUCA Leadership Framework

VUCA Leadership Framework A.1: Anticipate change: visioning, sensing and monitoring

What does A.1 require?

The leader interprets the likely impact of turbulence and trends on the enterprise, attending systematically to the general environment (economic, political, cultural), the specifics of the business (technology, customer demand) and organizational factors (strategy, finance, structure, practices). This is not predicting a single future but seeing the forces of change, projecting how they may interact and envisioning several outcomes, with the capability to sense and respond spread across the team. Its processes are visioning, sensing and monitoring.
