Manufacturers of children's products must have enough samples tested by a CPSC-accepted third-party conformity assessment body to support certification, investigate failures, carry out periodic third-party testing at least annually (or under a production testing plan or ISO/IEC 17025 lab testing option), retest and recertify after any material change in design, process or component sourcing, and keep certificates, test records by site, periodic test plans and results, representative sampling records, material change records and undue influence procedures.
