UK Online Safety Act 2023 s.20: Content reporting (user-to-user)

Services operate systems letting users and affected persons (the subject of content, members of a targeted group, parents or carers of child users or subjects, and adults assisting another adult) easily report illegal content and, on services likely to be accessed by children, content harmful to children on parts children can access. In force: risk assessment duties from 16 December 2024 (first assessments due by 16 March 2025); safety duties from 17 March 2025, when the first illegal content codes took effect (s.51).
