UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) 7: Projects for domestic clients

For domestic clients, the client duties in regulations 4(1) to (7) and 6 are carried out by the sole contractor, the principal contractor, or the principal designer under a written agreement; if a domestic client makes no appointments, the designer in control of the pre-construction phase is the principal designer and the contractor in control of the construction phase is the principal contractor.
