TSA Pipeline Security 5.2.C7: 5.2 Table 1 criterion 7: significant disruption of pipeline system operations

Designate facilities whose loss or disruption would significantly impact overall deliverability and system safety for an extended period: more than seven days for natural gas distribution and hazardous liquid transmission, more than 14 days for natural gas transmission. Factors include components not readily available because of long lead times or limited sourcing and whether the facility contains critical pipeline cyber assets (7.2). All three subsectors should identify as critical any operational control room without a hot site backup, that is a backup control room running continuously with all hardware and software operating concurrently with the primary site.
