Each network operator and service provider must pay an annual fee: a fixed amount, plus above a revenue threshold a percentage (at most 2 percent) of eligible revenues net of taxes, interconnection and international termination payments, and must give the Regulator the information the licensing rules require to verify revenues; the universal service levy plus revenue-based fees may not exceed 2 percent of eligible revenue. Intentionally false or misleading information is an offence punishable by up to $20,000, five years' imprisonment or both.
