Regulation on the European Health Data Space (EHDS) 7: Transmit patient data to another provider or reimbursement body immediately, free and without hindrance

Article 7: natural persons may give access to, or ask a healthcare provider to transmit, all or part of their data to another provider of their choice immediately, free of charge and without hindrance from the provider or its system manufacturers; across borders the transmission uses the exchange format through MyHealth@EU and the receiving provider must accept and read it; part of the data may be sent one-way to an identified social security or reimbursement recipient; a downloaded copy may be passed to providers in the exchange format and must be accepted.
