Article 3: natural persons have the right to access at least their personal electronic health data in the priority categories (patient summaries, e-prescriptions, e-dispensations, imaging studies and reports, test results and reports, discharge reports) through electronic health data access services, immediately after registration in an EHR system subject to technical practicability, free of charge and in a readable, consolidated, accessible format; they or their representatives may download a copy in the European electronic health record exchange format. Member States may, under GDPR Article 23, delay access for a limited time until a health professional can explain results with a significant health impact.
