The lessor or agent requires no more than two weeks' rent in advance under a periodic agreement (or moveable dwelling agreement) and no more than one month's rent under any other agreement, never requires rent for a period already paid, and when advertising or offering the tenancy does not invite or accept an offer of more rent in advance than those limits.
