A designer, manufacturer, importer, supplier or installer must comply with an applicable recall order (Queensland or another State's corresponding order); no one may supply or install a product they know or should know is recalled; an architect or engineer must not specify one; and where a product becomes recalled after being specified, the architect or engineer must, at their own cost, tell each person given the design and either amend the design or give written notice of an alternative product.
