Queensland Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 s101B-Sch1A: s 101B and Schedule 1A Code of conduct for committee voting members

Each voting member of the committee is taken to have agreed to the code of conduct in Schedule 1A: commit to understanding the Act and the code, act honestly and fairly, keep body corporate and owner information confidential unless authorised or required by law, act in the body corporate's best interests, take reasonable steps to comply with the Act, avoid causing nuisance, and disclose conflicts of interest to the committee. A breach can lead to removal from office in the way the Standard Module prescribes (section 45).
