NSW Home Building Act 1989 s48V: s 48V Notify the Secretary of a court order to pay a building claim within 7 days

A contractor licence holder ordered by a court to pay money on a building claim (including an unspecified-sum claim from a supply of building goods or services) must, within 7 days after the order, notify the Secretary in writing of the amount, the due date if specified, the payee and any prescribed particulars. Any party may also notify the order. Maximum penalty 40 penalty units for a corporation and 20 otherwise.
