NSW Home Building Act 1989 s49E: ss 49B(6) and 49E Comply with the Secretary's rectification order

Complying with a rectification order made by the Secretary under Part 3B is a condition of every contractor licence, and a person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with one. Maximum penalty 3,000 penalty units for a corporation plus 300 per day for a continuing offence, and 1,000 plus 100 per day otherwise. Failure is also a disciplinary ground (s 56(o)).
