NFPA 70 National Electrical Code 2023 Article 700 Emergency Systems 700.10(B): 700.10(B) Independence of emergency wiring

Wiring from the emergency source or its distribution protection to emergency loads is kept wholly separate from other wiring and equipment, except: normal-source wiring inside transfer equipment; two-source wiring in exit or emergency luminaires, listed load control relays or their attached boxes; unit equipment boxes; elevator travelling cables; and supply of emergency and other loads through separate vertical switchgear or switchboard sections or separate disconnect enclosures, with any shared overcurrent protection selectively coordinated with the next non-emergency device, no emergency circuit leaving the same section or enclosure as other circuits, feeders permitted up to the point of separation, and generator-mounted breakers allowed to split emergency and other loads if separation starts right after their line-side connections. Two or more emergency circuits from one source may share raceways and enclosures.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
