NFPA 70 National Electrical Code 2023 Article 700 Emergency Systems 700.10(D)(4): 700.10(D)(4) Source control wiring

Control conductors between the EPSS or SEPSS and transfer equipment or the controls that start emergency sources or connect emergency loads are kept independent of all other wiring, protected like feeders, and supervised for open, disconnected or shorted conductors; loss of integrity starts the generators or, for other sources, raises the malfunction signal of 700.6(A).

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
