Chapter 4: Classification of emergency power supply systems – NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems

NFPA 110-2025 Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems 4.4: 4.4 Level 1 and Level 2 systems

Level 1 applies where a failure of the equipment could cost human life or cause serious injury; Level 2 where failure is less critical to life and safety. All equipment must be permanently installed, and both levels must supply every EPSS load with power within the load's operating limits, for the class duration and within the type time.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

  • 4.4-4.17 Risk grading of areas for loss of supply (clinical A to E, business I to IV)

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
