Netherlands Works Councils Act (WOR) 18(2): Art. 18(2) Grant paid training days to council and committee members at the statutory minimums

The entrepreneur must give members of the council and of its standing and divisional committees, for a number of days per year set jointly with the council, the opportunity in working time and with pay to receive training of sufficient quality that they themselves consider necessary for their task; the number may not be lower than five days for council members, eight for council members who also sit on such a committee and three for committee members who are not council members (18(3)).
