The Supplier develops and maintains instructions covering production from materials and parts up through components and subsystems to the whole system, so specified requirements are met, and sets workmanship criteria as clearly as practicable, such as written standards, representative samples or illustrations. SRD.1: the GQAR should know which processes may be outsourced and hear early when work is subcontracted. SRD.2: AS9100D 8.5.1 already covers controlled conditions and workmanship. Base clause: ISO 9001:2015 clause 8.5.1 (production control).
