NATO AQAP 2110 - Quality Assurance Requirements for Design, Development, and Production 5.4.5: Control dependability issues and documents when the contract requires it

What does 5.4.5 require?

Where the contract states it, the Supplier keeps dependability matters and their documents under control, including documents coming from External Providers. Dependability (3.3.4) means performing when and as needed, taking in availability, reliability, recoverability, maintainability and how well maintenance is supported, and in some cases durability, safety and security (3.3.4); the Allied Dependability Management Publications give further guidance. SRD.2: no AS9100D counterpart; wholly a NATO addition, triggered only by the contract. Base clause: No direct ISO 9001 clause (NATO addition; ADMP informative).
