Unless the contract specifies otherwise, the Supplier decides how each requirement will be verified and validated and shows conformity at suitable points of development, through to the finished product. SRD.2: sits on AS9100D 8.3.4, which already covers reviews, verification and validation. Base clause: ISO 9001:2015 clause 8.3.4 (design controls).
